I have a chinese 200 cc (168.9 exactly) that WILL NOT START

So, BRAND NEW, assembled it and it wont start. I traced it back to the pressure switch on the brake master cylinder. When I used a jumper to connect both wires it started but the brake light stays on all the time. I ordered a new switch, put it in and it does the same thing. Likelyhood of 2 bad master cylinder switches is a million to one. Anyone have any ideas ? Like I said, bypassing the switch, it starts but brake lights are constantly on. HELP !!!! DANG GIT

Its a CHINESE GO KART... P.O.S. Pic on right shows the Brake Master Cylinder "switch". Replaced it and it still wont start (no juice) but bypassing the switch it starts right up. Only problem there is the brake lights stay on indefinitely. ITS BRAND NEW. I'm wondering if bleeding the brakes would help ? Someone said its a "pressure switch" but I dunno.

But, you can muffle the sound.
It sounds to me like you have no pressure going to that port for the switch? If you press on the brake pedal do the lights come on?

Most have to have brake on or parking brake on to start. Bypassing the switch may be back feeding power to let it start.

Can you disconnect brake lights when running, and it still runs?

No... no brake lights unless bypassing the switch, then they are on all the time.

Do you have a 12V test light? Does it crank but not start or does it not crank? Sounds like a pinched or crossed hot wire. Get a test light and start testing for hots where there shouldn't be like a ground wire. Is there any adjustment left on the brake pedal rod? Could be out of adjustment.

Another thing you could try is disconnect any plugs or connectors then reconnect them. Sometimes a simple disconnect/reconnect fixes these mystery problems. Maybe a pin in a connector isn't completely seated. Worth a shot. A test light is your best friend with problems like this.
