Doodlebug drag bike

Just finished my doodlebug drag bike. Has a built Pred. 212, hemi, 15+ hp. Stretch 6" with a one inch live axle. I know the front brake caliper should be on the back side of the forks, l couldn't wait for the other calipers I ordered, may change later. A cheap tachometer.

Needs repainted, some new hardware, and some other cosmetic work. Poor pictures, the best I could do at the moment.

Looks good! The caliper don’t care what side it is on, it works the same. For aesthetics purposes the brakes should have been located on the right side.

Thanks, just realizing the brake issue, may change later, but they work pretty good.
Test ride was good only it's scary **s fast, or maybe I'm just getting a little older.

That thing is awesome! Now you need another so you have a worthy opponent.

I do, got this nitro-50, drag bike, has a 50" wheel base. Same motor as the doodlebug. I'll get better pics. If wanted.

pearl, your 2nd bike looks like it has a lot of potential also. As with anything that's scary fast, do 20 or 25 good hard launches keeping it pegged as long as the pucker factor will allow, and I'm sure as you already know the scary part goes away and the fun begins. A couple of weeks from now you'll be looking for more. NICE JOB. These little engines are fun when you really push them.
