C3 Kart Build - In Progress

Found a frame that would “fit” this C3 body. Fixed a crack in the fender and finally mounted it with some modification.

Next steps are to finish the body work, paint and apply livery decals.

Fun project so far.

I’m going to turn mine into a drag car.
We have a ‘76 that we race.
Denny, you'll do fine, as long as you can get that light rear end to hook up. Don't swap out the spring for one of the lightweight fiberglass ones.
Warrior, I feel pain for you. My 1980 was about as road-course-worthy as a pair of ice skates. Even with sticky B.F. Goodrich TA radials all around.

The glass springs are great on a vette! I’ve installed 2 on 67’s and 3 on 73, 75, and a 79. They have been a great addition. But on mine the IRS is going to go away in favor of a Dana 60. The IRS is too big of a pain and too expensive to make live in a drag car.
