So I have been working on a Manco and I just bought brand new wheels for it (supposedly the only thing wrong with it) I have it started, I have the chains pulling the clutch, it seems like it should go but it just won’t take off. Something isn’t grabbing, looks like the back axle is spinning freely inside the wheel but the wheels them selves aren’t moving. I can’t tell if I need to fully tighten the drive side and loosen the right one or what?

kinda lol I’m impatient, which is something else I’m learning while messing with these, I got the wrong wheels for it, wasn’t even thinking I needed a live axle wheel for the back end. So I’m gonna send those two back wheels back and get what I need. Took me all of 2 hours to notice the back axle just spinning and another 30 minutes to see what was causing it

key way is 3/16” on a 5/8” shaft, would you happen to know what key size I’d need for it?
If you mean how long a piece of 3/16" keystock do you need, the answer is "more than you need". Just get a12" long piece of keystock and cut it to fit exactly the way you want it, and slightly round the end corners to ease fitment. All you need is enough to completely fill the entire lengths of the keyways where the 2 (shaft and wheel) meet together. I make sure there's at least a little nib sticking out. That's 3/16" square, but you can also fit up mismatched keyways that are 3/16" on one and 1/4" on the other, see links below.
3/16" x 3/16" Keystock (12") | AZ8400 | 8400 | BMI Karts And Parts
3/16" x 1/4" Keystock (12") | AZ8404 | 8404 | BMI Karts And Parts
