Hello! I just signed up because I dug up a 20 year OLD abandoned go-kart project today in a neglected garage storage area. It is made out of (I think) an old bunk bed, goodyear tractor wheels, a lawnmower engine and hand-cast axles. The body was VERY close to going out for recycle this morning lol. The first photo shows it as it sits on the floor upended on it's front bumper--they wouldn't want to take up too much room in the garage storage area, probably. I added a rotated photo, but it is kind of disorienting with all the dirt & rust & condition of the floor/walls. Please forgive me if the photos are sized kind of weird, I don't have a lot of forum experience.

Thank you Denny--I joined to see if anyone might want it to be part of THEIR project. This was started by a pump and motor engineer who said they did ride it 20 years ago but doesn't want it now, so I was about to drag it out to recycle and then thought maybe someone into the hobby could use some parts at least? The projects I have seen on here so far seem pretty swanky though. What do you guys call up cycled (made out of old junk) go-karts? I have other photos--the bunk bed seat is a hoot. Maybe only to people over 50, but...go kart bunk bed seat.jpg
