Thank you in advance.

Hi Keith. There called manco rims. They are a 2 piece rim. The cart only had 3 of them on it. 5 inch rear. 4 inch front. You can get them on ebay. I gave the cart to my neighbors sons. Also gave him an extra 4 inch front rim. The rims on front arent original. I bought them both on ebay for $45. There is a guy on ebay selling them search manco go cart rims. Good luck

In addition to the other comments recently posted which are correct, the guy at www.gokartalley.com Is extremely helpful regarding parts and advice on these Karts. He has numerous Manco Karts. Manco made Go Karts for Sears in the 70's and 80's. Also www.gopowersports.com is a really good resource for parts. Use E bay like the other post said to search for Manco parts and wheels just be very careful if you ever deal with a guy off E Bay called Stockerace he is very high $$$$ and will not deal just FYI. Please post pictures of your kart. I have a 1980 Manco Quicksilver with the original Techumseh engine. All The Best and keep us posted.

I don't have any pictures of the cart as it is right now but here I am in a pic waiting for my dad to unbox whatever is inside the box (dad never told us we were getting a go cart) and here is a picture of the first pass.

I am almost 50 now and between my brother and now back in the day and my three kids the kart has been an absolute joy, but it has been put through it's paces. I want to bring it back to 100% mechanically but plan to leave the paint exactly as it is.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will start tracking them down and post my progress.

That is very cool and brings back a lot of memories when I was also that age. Do you still have the original engine? If you do ever need to paint it, powder coating is the way to go for durability. The guy at Go Kart Alley can help you with decals as he has a source who makes them. Go Power Sports has the original and correct seats for these FYI.

How to you fit a replacement throttle cable on this go kart? The small pilot hole on the frame is too small to thread through the after market replacement throttle cables I've looked at online. When I tore my gokart down to sand/paint and then put the cable back on, I physically pulled the cable out of the outer casing to remove it and then put it back on the kart. It has a welded lead piece on the pedal end that didn't seem removable.
