Looked at another house today that was towards the top end of our budget. Gonna have to take a hard pass on that one. Water damage in the walls, paint chipping, broken glass on the garage. Basically the house does not meet the requirements for an FHA mortgage. Fortunately our realtor went with her husband this morning and looked at it with him, since he's a real estate broker, he told her everything wrong with it. So she was able to relay it to us.

So the one we put an offer on might be the one we go with.

My Predator blew a headgasket at about 6500 rpm and aprayed hot oil all over my arm. So I've got it torn down right now. I ordered some head studs and while I wait on those to come in I'm getting the head milled. The compression ratio should be a little higher and the gasket should never blow again.

Are you milling head or having local shop? Mine is torn down currently and I was planning on putting on a mill at work when I had time or getting done local.

I broke my neck 2 years ago and can’t work My dad wants to throw me out of the house I’ve been paying on for 20 years. My girlfriend and her 3 monsters left me. I’m just having a goood time. I don’t suppose there are any good Woman left around the Ober indiana area?

Denny, just got full on MGTOW and be done with it. If my marriage goes sideways, I'm one and DONE!
You say that now. I was with my ex-wife 21 years, divorced. After 13 years got lonely. With my girlfriend 8 years. When they both got everything they could out of me they took off. I still say I’m the dumbest person I know.

I'm just saying, I'm done with marriage after this one. Losing 1/2 of all my stuff is not something I would want to look forward too, then going through that a second time and be left with even less. Nope, not worth the time or money a second go around. First time is enough for me and we're still happy. We've been together going on a decade now and married for almost 3 years.

Right now I'm jumping through many shops just for us to buy a house. FYI, FHA mortgages are not being sought after right now, just do what you can with a conventional mortgage. That seems to be less of a hassle right now. But I'm looking to get into a 203(k) so we can do renovations if need be.

Not sure how we stand with a house at the moment. Waiting on paperwork to be approved. All this uncertainty over the last couple days, caused me to spike a low grade fever Tuesday after work, but it was close to normal when I went to work yesterday. If you can, wait until it becomes a buyer's market. You'll have a better chance of getting a house, plus prices may be negotiated lower than asking.

I know tons of folks who are selling, moving just because they think they can get a lot for their existing place. Problem is, there's nothing on the market to move into. And what there is is more expensive that what they just sold.

I guess I just admitted I am friends with meatheads.

We're moving 45 minutes west of Lincoln to a village. Less than 1000 people live there. People ride around town on golf carts and UTVs. Might be great to bum around on a go kart or mini bike 😄👍👍

Its mostly sheriff out there. Fortunately we'll live within a block of the fire department. Going back out there on Thursday for the home inspection. Hopefully this all goes well. This is a very stressful process. Not many people will walk new potential home owners through the process unfortunately. Make sure you have clear and concise communication, with your realtor, your mortgage lender, and anyone else involved in this process.
