New clutch keeps going lop-sided

Just installed a new centrifugal clutch after the old one came off while riding. With the new one on, the kart crawls forward and the clutch gets stuck in a strange position (see photo) until it is taken apart and recentered. Any ideas are much appreciated.

Hey thanks for the reply! I just put the original bolt/washer back on with the new clutch, wonder why it didn’t originally have that special washer.

If you don't get the washer/bolt you could try adding a thicker washer as well as loctite to keep the bolt from backing off and losing the outer piece. Old Comet's that originally would have been on the go kart wouldn't come with one of those washers.

P.S. It's a Torque Converter or cvt

It's probably not going to work well anyway with the belt covered in oil.
