So, I just ordered everything I will need to get this thing to drive under its own power, I still need to order brakes but other than that, until the stuff gets here i will just get it ready to get the parts put on it

It's a setback...
It can be made to work...
The sprocket can be used to fit a new one for the bolt pattern...
Find a weld on sprocket of the tooth count you want...
Align and measure for concentricity to the hub. Clamp and drill new holes...
All else fails.. good to go..

If they can make this out of wood I'm sure you can make a go-kart out of wood

I'm quite certain the spruce goose wasn't made from some scrap lumber and bent nails nicked from a dumpster behind a construction site. In fact, it was almost entirely hand-laid laminated birch.

Spruce goose was really an incredible machine. 33,000 horsepower on that thing, designed to carry 150,000 lbs (that's 3 Sherman tanks) across the ocean. Made from wood because government officials were too afraid it wouldn't be viable, so they wouldn't divert the needed aluminum from the war effort.

And it laid the foundation for what we now know as the "Hercules" transport carrier!

I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION!!!! after coming out of the depths of despair and depression I have found a solution. To some, this is an obvious solution but I am no expert so yeah. I will buy or trade for a set of mini-bike wheels and only have one wheel being driven. I hope to get this finished soon so I can finally do my victory burnouts. Since this is a budget go-kart skrew brakes.

I've actually been to Evergreen Air & Space many times. I can testify that it is HUMONGOUS(the Spruce Goose), but inside the hull is actually smaller than you'd expect. All that wood needs a lot of bracing to stay together. They've also got a really cool SR-71 Blackbird there........my favorite....... :)

Is that the one in / outside of Macon? I've seen a SR-71 in that museum. Neat.
