I am currently building yerf dog go kart. My main question sis currently are I have a predator 301 and I'm wondering what mods would be back to get more power out of it and also I am curious if there is a good reverse setup that I could put on this gokart and engine set up. It did not come with one.

I would try and use the 301 stock and then see if you would like more power. Just gear the kart correctly.
As for reverse, you have very little options. There used to be a Comet FNR gearbox, but they don't make it anymore. Those would work. Other than that you are out of luck unless you use the engine off a ATV that has reverse

Chinese clones of the Comet FNR boxes are available on Ebay, just like the torque converters.
Thank you! Sorry I thought I had email alerts but apparently not. I need to do some gear reduction because it it's about 37 right now very quickly LOL I do think I want more power though
