Yerf dog 420 gearing

Hello thanks for letting me join this page I’m new to go karts And was wondering if any body had a predator 420 in a yerf dog 3203 I have rear axle apart now and was wondering what gear ratios are being ran it has a comet 40 series on a jack shaft a 9 tooth drive and 60 tooth driven have not driven it bought it not running

That gearing that you currently have seems about right on the money to me. That gives you a 6.6:1 ratio. I would leave it just like it is and see what you think when you first give it a test ride

Mine runs the stock sprocket and I think a 10 tooth on the t.c with my gx390 the thing scoots

Ok sounds good thank you guys for your help ordered all new axle bearings and sprockets boy disassembly of the axle wasn’t to much fun and getting the wheels off oh boy lots off pb blaster and a torch with map gas and a 4 pound sledge
