Throttle linkage needed

I have an old manco in need of diagram for throttle linkage and also need to replacement parts please advise

Zoom in to see what I did. Riveted an extension on the stock throttle arm and applied a cable stop/swivel and a return spring. Ran the cable from the back and secured it with the stock cable clamp that’s on your carb. But this will only work for a motor with no governor in place. Mine was removed and a billet rod was installed. Good luck.

I will say. Those pedals ain't supposed to be there. So it's going to be special eithor way. I can grab a pic of stock setup tomorrow, are you looking for the engine or on the kart itself?

They are if he’s 3’ tall.

If you still have the governor and wish to retain the factory throttle setup, it is of course connected under the engine's gas tank.

We would appreciate a photo of that area to ascertain what parts are missing, however I have a diagram.
I corrected a typo on item #2 with a red arrow pointing to the actual 1628 Cable Retainer.


All of the parts are available in a set-- Briggs Throttle Control #692316. Tons of sources to pick from, even Amazon if that's your thing.

Yes you are correct I would like to move the pedals back to their original position. Did realize this when I bought it. Do you have any ideas on how to do this?

Here's a manual that is closest to your model 405-30. All model 405's are about the same regardless. It'll help you visualize the proper configuration of the pedals, etc.

The original holes at the original pedal positions should still be there.
Just unbolt them from where they are now and move them up. No rocket science involved.

As for the "additional linkage for the governor", not sure what you mean. Got detailed photos of the engine?
