Someone offered the owner more. Hopefully it's better than your current home.
A better trade would have been, I fix the tire, I get the Mini Bike. Seems fair to me lol.Your service advisor needs to go back to school. There they taught him when you can do something under the table, always take a cut. The proper procedure would have been for the SA to take $20 from your co-worker, then slip you $10 for doing the work.
Sorry for your loss Panhead. Life is precious!
On another note though, I put in an offer on another townhouse. Hopefully I get this one!
Sorry for your loss. That 105 years was full indeed. 2 world wars, men on the moon, the (color!) television, mass production of the automobile, interstate highways, long distance phone lines, indoor plumbing, the list goes on and on.
Thanks, and yes it is.
Any updates on the house?

I lost it again!!! Maybe third time lucky...sigh.....Dang Landuse! That sucks man. Is it like a bidding war or what?
R1M is just over $71,000 USD. That isnt too bad at all.
That is about on par with pricing here too. Just depends on location, lot size, etc. Long as the community is a tight knit community, things usually go well.Depending on the area of town I want to buy in, I can either get a really old 3 bedroom house that will need some work for that price, or I can get a townhouse in a secure complex for about R1.2M. I don't know what the average prices of houses are over there, but if you want a really good 3-4 bedroom family home here in good condition, you will probably pay between R2-3 million here. Thats about $150 000 - $213000.
