Muffler broke off from engine

It broke off but not sure if there's a part to order our it had to be a whole engine.

I do believe that fat part nests down inside there and is supposed to crush down on a gasket.

Looks like your bolts rattled loose and it fell off. Probably need a new gasket. And a couple bolts.

It's possible the bolt holes are stripped out, in which case they'd need to be carefully retapped to the next size up and the holes in the exhaust flange enlarged to match, or helicoils installed.

Here is a cheap kit.

Whether thread repair is necessary or not, studs could be red loctited as well. I think it won't get to hot.
