Hey everyone,

I was looking to build a front engine rwd go kart with a predator 212cc engine and im not really sure where the chain would go and would i need to use more than one chain or just one long chain. Like i said this is my first time building one so any advice on anything or where i can buy the parts ill need for it would be greatly appreciated. Btw i live in Ontario, Canada.

There was a guy here awhile ago who built a gokart with front mounted engine...
It aparently worked, but as I recall had a bunch of chain issues due to length...

Here in Canada were kinda screwed for gokart parts, not many online places and our main place for gearing/drivetrain ect... is the Princess auto...

Would you happen to know his username? Also im planning on it being a drift kart so i feel like having the engine in the front will help out a bit more with weight distribution, not sure if that would really make a difference or not so if you have an opinion on that i would love to hear it

Drifting might make long chain issues even more of a problem. Just guessing here though
