An Electric Mini Jeep Build From Sunny Southern California

Inspired by the WW2 Workhorse Willys Jeep MB, We built this mini scale electric version of the same. Its about 5 feet long and 3 feet wide and can easily carry an adult and a kid. With our boys(10 and 4) on board it goes about 20mph max. Uses 2 500W electric motor, electronic speed controller, fully working headlight, indicators, tail lights, dashboard with key ignition. Runs on 2, 35Ah battery. Steering uses a rack and pinion to make it easy on the kidos..

The brake is a modified Go Kart brake pedal with a custom brake system using standard 4.5 inch band brake on both rear wheels... works pretty solid..

Unfortunately i didnt make any plans... it was more of a build as you go as most of it was custom based on a willys blue print... i can give you some dimensions to get you going...
