Got my new 22" rear tires. My wife laughed when she saw how small my rear tires were. If that doesn't give you Penile tire dysfunction I don't know what does. Old rears when on sons 3002 build. Still need to finish up the seat throttle and seat supports on his then I can swap all my focus on to finishing my spiderbox. Daughter decided we are going to paint it black with red flames.

Made some big updates in the past month got everything buttoned up and running. Going to be selling the blue Kart and buying another spiderbox to restore this week. The 420cc swap on the Spiderbox was an awesome choice. So much torque and a very nice top speed. I'll have to test it with the phone gps later but it feels about 30 which is faster than I wanted. Climbs up embankments with ease. Very happy.

This was my first dive into Fabrication of any kind. I need to redo some welds but I'm getting better. Overall I'm beyond happy with how it turned out. It's solid, faster than I expected, and can climb some silly steep banks.

I'm actually picking up another Spiderbox today for my son because that blue Kart was not up to the mud.

Is your steering wheel Detachable or is it an alcantara wheel? Either way I like it

My steering wheel is not a quick release. I did weld the little brackets on behind the support tho so I can remove everything and the column is solid and won’t slide up and down anymore unexpected.

Traded the Ken Bar Streaker STA 8 for another Spiderbox today. Pretty much going with the same build again. But it did come with the original GY6 so I might rebuild it and do a big bore kit on it.
1. BDX front end
2. 150cc rear shocks
3. 301cc/420cc Harbor Freight engine/or GY6 rebuild
4. 22" rear tires 19" front tires
5. Make my son pay for all this ****.

Along with the trade I got a box of spare parts. My Hammerhead is going to have parts for years.

Added 4 point harnesses today. Iching to take them back out on the trails again soon. I also have to tear this thing down and paint it. Thinking I'm just going to use Rustoleum black and plasti dip the wheels.

Nearly 6 months later it’s complete for my first build. Learning welding in the fly and not knowing anything about Go Karts I’d say I did alright. And am now addicted.
