hello all,
So i ended up getting a Baja warrior minibike that i traded a go kart for. So far i have put a 212 predator( ungoverned) on it and i have put a 30 series torque converter on. The bike is good but i am looking to do more with it. I am thinking of either putting a 125 manual dirt bike engine on it, or i will just go all out modding the predator. What are peoples recommendations and also what other cool things could be done to a Baja warrior ?

Thanks-Joe

The 212 motor & TAV is a good combination on a Warrior. If you do an air box removal (K&N type filter), exhaust header, timing key for advance, thinner head gasket & re-jet the carb it will make a huge difference. Mine with these mods (the hemi motor 60363) turns over 50 mph, which is plenty fast enough for me.

Here's what mine looks like at this point. Kenda K572 tires, bobbed fenders, fake gas tank (for the batteries), Honda foot pegs & LED lighting.

That is an awesome bike you have, those mods seem like a great way to go.

If you swap out the 30 series torque converter 10t jackshaft sprocket for a 8t type c jackshaft sprocket (provided your jackshaft is 5/8") you will pick up a noticeable amount of torque.

The biggest bang for your buck on those predator engines is the stage 1 upgrades, so maybe what Noseoil did plus the jackshaft sprocket and you will have a very fast torquey bike.

I wouldn't go for a bike engine. It will just bee too much fab work and hassle getting the shifter working. I am not saying it cannot be done, just that it would be much easier going the route these guys have proposed

I have an 8T on one of my stock warriors and there is not a hill I can't conquer.

I have also used an 8&9 tooth on I am mildly modded engine and could still hit 45 to 50 mph with plenty of torque and wheelies

I actually use Jackshaft setup on my built
Engine and it makes great power.

TCs are good for mild engine builds and JSs are good when pushing high rpms.

Here is pic of my small wheel road warrior dragster for an upcoming event.
I use my TC backplate for a JS and use a 10t clutch, 17t JS in, and swap between 8,9,10,and12 JS
sprockets out.

Dang sideways pics Lol

I have done some things to my Baja as well!

Torque converter, header with muffler, upgraded intake (K&N style one), re jet, and gov bypass and I get about 45 on the flats.

Like was said, do the stage one kit and go from there! It makes a big difference

So, I'm new to this whole scene and I'm really getting into modifying my Baja warrior. I removed the governor so far and basically just fixed it up to good working condition. I have been using it to race around a track I made for my friends Coleman CT200.
I used to be big into karting and formula 2000, so after a few drinks last weekend I had the idea of mounting a karting engine on to a minibike. Other than figuring out where to situate the exhaust, it doesn't need a radiator and its single gear. Do you think this is a possibility?
