Tyler has the idea, only thing I'm gonna buy is the chain and maybe a new sprocket for the trans. The front axle is pretty **** strong, stronger than the manco dingo I used to have. The front wheel bearing are sort of loose but generally that means the spindles have to be welded, ground and the rims re built with new bushings(been there done that) not gonna bother. The spindle bearings feel pretty tight although they are stiff from sitting outside. The ball joints on the steering rod worry me a little but they aren't popping out yet. Overall the front end isn't that bad.
I decided to fix the stock steering setup and use that(which is why I junked this one out in the first place) built a bushing out of copper pipe for the plastic pinion carrier that wore out and was causing the gears to skip, just gotta press the "gear box" back together and bolt it in(luckily I saved all the bolts from this tractor when I scrapped it out).
Frame finished(back plate), seat bolted down, running boards installed, rear end mocked up.
Trans mockup
All tight and ready to go other that needing a hose clamp.
Nuts n bolts, clutch spring.
