My First Kart.

Hi everyone, here is my kart so far, on a tight budget, so using what i have got for now.

That's a great start!! You have 4 wheels and it's qualified as a rolling chassis! Nice! What brand is it?

Well, i made it from scratch, the steering shaft is an old treadmill roller (bearings in both ends) The wheels from a lawn mower tractor.

Cool! I almost thought golf cart chassis. Nice differential!! What's next? That seat from the tractor(if in good shape) would work. Try to keep it light though. Don't need that engine to work too hard or burn up clutches or belts. And I do suggest a 'Torque Converter' in a Comet 30 or 40 to take the stress off the engine and get you moving easier.

I have honda gx160 clone to go on it, no seat yet, will look for ideas. Torque converter sounds a good plan
