Rear axle, what type?

Could someone tell me what kind of axle this is, I bought it today, with a set of fronts too, I'm not sure if they are mower wheels etc?

Depends what you want it for.

You could probably sell that diff for 3x what a solid axle from BMI costs.

Why would you want to ruin a perfectly good diff? As ec-eg suggested, if you cant use it, sell or swap it for a solid axle...
