Help needed - using a solid state relay instead of a solid state switch

The central point is accommodation, wellbeing, and cost. Transfers are smaller and more affordable than switches. With a switch additionally, need to run thicker wires (enough to deal with 30 - 40 amps) since it requires more voltage than a transfer. Think about a hand-off as a remote, it gives security by giving you additional separation from the power supply.

The wires of a SSR are smaller and of a higher gauge than a switch. SSRs are likewise speedier, smaller and have a more extended lifetime than a mechanical relay. They help increment security since you're managing a lesser voltage and amperage, giving you a smaller voltage/amperage controlling a higher voltage/amperage. According to the datasheet of MCTC4825JLB https://www.icrfq.com/part/3155335-MCTC4825JLB.html for substantially higher voltages a SSR is an incredible option when a general switch can't be utilized on account of wear out under the current.

Solid State Relay (DC/DC):

Interface (R) positive terminal to the push catch switch.
Interface (R) negative terminal to the negative terminal on battery 1.
Interface (L) positive terminal to the positive terminal on battery 2.
Associate (L) negative terminal to the positive terminal on stack.

Battery 1:
Note that battery one was utilized as separation.
Associate the negative terminal of battery 1 to the negative terminal of the SSR (R).
Associate the positive terminal of battery 1 to the push catch switch.

Push Button Switch:
Interface one terminal to the positive terminal (R) of the SSR.
Associate the second terminal to the positive terminal of battery 1.

Load:
Interface the positive terminal of the heap to the negative terminal (L) of the SSR.
Associate the negative terminal of the heap to the negative terminal of battery 2.

Battery 2:
Associate the positive terminal on battery 2 to the positive terminal on the yield.
Associate the negative terminal on battery 2 to the negative terminal on the heap.

Would anyone be able to help me? I am extremely puzzled about this inquiry.

hehe, I think you misunderstood my question;
that much I understood from your initial post.

The question is WHAT kart..
what voltage and Amperage are we talking about?
(controller used, motor power, battery voltage etc...)

Solid state relays make absolutely no sense whatsoever in a kart
(in it's controller, maybe.. for powering the motor, not at all!)
IMHO... a physical relay however DOES more often than not.
They're called "contactors" for electric vehicle applications (in case you want to do some googling ;))

The wiring is not important tbh, you want the shortest possible wiring anyways,
what IS important however is safety concern of a -potentially undersized- switch
You do not want the contacts to weld shut under any circumstance;
otherwise you might be rushing full speed towards the nearest brick wall while cooking off your brake pads.
THAT's what those beefy relais are meant for, ensure being able to cut the motor power at any time.
SSRs need to be forcefully cooled or extremely massive to achieve that reliably...
And in the end cost twice as much as a mechaincla relay that does the same.

So yeah, what do you want to build exactly?

Michel, are you wondering about being able to have a on/off switch for the electric motor etc using a relay (remote) instead of a switch (inline)? If so, your controller will handle this function. The controller has leads for the battery hookup (thick wires) and also leads for the on/off switch (thin wires).

I want to know which one would be the best solid state relay (SSR) or solid state switch for the electric motor? I think could not explain properly. I think I have to share an image for my better understand.

I took Michel aside and ask him in private (and german)
I had the feeling that we hit some sort of lingual barrier here.

And it turned out,
He wanted to connect a brushed motor (350W, undecided on the voltage yet)
to some brushless controller ...
So yeah much more clarification needed than the initial question would led us to believe ;)

And as far as I understand now.. it was indeed asking if he'd need an SSR (instead of a contactor)
That is now resolved (I guess) since there's no need for such thing once he got a matching controller for the motor he'd pick.
None at all.. no switch, no SSR, no contactor needed for the assumingly 15Amps that's going to flow... not between batteries and motor that is ;)
if I'm vague, it's because there's STILL a noticeable lingual barrier between the two of us

I'll keep you updated, feel free to comment, make suggestions and/or corrections.
