Got the steering angle right. Was forced to stop as my welder ran out of gas. Now, I have to make the front legs, mount the master cylinder/pedal assembly, gusset the head tube and the base. Then clean the welds up and make sure everything is good before the engine and drive line go on.

Hey thanks for posting this. I'm contemplating cutting up an old min bike frame and Yerf frame and doing this, but something along the old dune trikes made in the 70's. I just want to keep it somewhat low with the engine behind the seat to keep the CG down. So what's the optimum angle of the fork degree wise? That looks like it's at a 12:30 clock angle from vertical? Some of the ones I see are like choppers ,at 1-2 o'clock which look like it would just plough forward. That's a really clean looking build too. What's the game plan for power?

I guessed at the angle. i know that the first mock up had too much angle and it wouldnt turn properly. The engine is a lightly modded 212 predator

Finally got my welder working and some spare time to work on this. Just waiting for the master cylinder mount to show up. Then I can weld that on, mock assembly and test. Then disassembly, paint and final assembly.

Well, I had to redo the foot pegs. Needed to raise them and angle them outward a bit. Its been too brutally hot in my garage for cutting and welding until recently. Going to mock it up in the next few days.

Just took it for its maiden voyage. Tried it without sleeves and with. Definitely keeping sleeves on. Its a mutha to steer with the solid axle and just tires. Its a hoot to drive. Gonna fab up some different handle bars to get them a little bit closer to me but, all in all, it rode great. Now, I just need to practice my dori-dori.

Thanks for the kind words. I was beginning to think I angered people with the lack of responses.

That is pretty slick! I'd really like to see a pic of you sitting on it though, seems like quite a stretch from the seat to the handle bars! A quick video of it in action would be cool as well.

I will take a pic. But, you are right. It is a stretch. But im 6'2" so i can reach. I will be doing something different for handle bars to make it easier to reach.

Don't worry if people don't respond. AND don't worry if you anger people. Life's too short to worry about trivial stuff.

I talk to myself for days on here. Talking and typing helps me straighten out thoughts. Most of the time I use my threads as a notepad. Posting links I want to remember and products I'm interested it....

That tire looks so big, I want to see what somebody looks like sitting in it.
