DIY group predator buy?

I wonder where the price break would be on buying a bunch of 212 engines from HF.

25? 50? 100?

I think I'll call them and find out.

It would be interesting to see if we could get a group buy, and get a really good price.

Let's pretend we can knock the crap out of $99 bucks, and say we could get it down to $75 or so.

How many would you be good for?
I know I'd be in for 2 or 3.

If we come up with some decent numbers, I'll call and do the haggling. In the meantime I'll check the pricing levels.
Lets give this a time frame of a month before ordering.

This is a good idea. But we'll have to form a corporation and have everyone sign a contract. To do that we'll need to hire a lawyer. To pay for the lawyer, we'll need everyone to pitch in $25. To collect the $25 we'll need an off-shore account. To get an off shore account, someone will need to go to Bora-Bora. I volunteer.

Great idea...for locals. (Guys that can drive over and kick the a$$ of the one that attempts to take the money and run) But for internet relationships, this would be a monumental task. Heavy on the monu"Mental" part.
Fact is, i dont think HF margins are high enough to offer a much lower price.Most retail markups are 100% then 10% so they double there investment +10% if retail.
$119.00 then they pay bout $50 for it.
Last part.....I got mine for $75 anyway. wait for $99 sale, then use the 25% coupon.
