Hi everyone,

I landed here after leaving another mini bike forum on account of it not being a terribly welcoming place for people who don't have much experience in the hobby.

This place seems a bit more relaxed and less uptight about what you ride, so hopefully it'll be a good fit.

As prefaced above I've little to no experience with mini bikes, but I am a bit more familiar with vintage Honda bikes. I got out of tinkering with those once the prices got to an unsustainable place for me.

Anyway, I'm here and I'll probably be asking questions should the search function fail me, so please don't grab your pitchforks if I ask a seemingly stupid question.

Cheers!

we love pictures, and you can post as many as you want on here, unlike that other forum you were talking about where you run out of space for pics.

Hello and welcome...
The oposing faction can be somewhat unwelcoming...

Here were pretty good... Post pics.. Post a location... Other than that... Pretty easy.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I appreciate the encouragement and you're right. That other place where they like Old Bikes was pretty hostile when I made a few posts in the off topic forum.

There's no way around a bad search function when you're looking for information, but when you don't know the questions to ask then no matter how good your search function is you're not going to get any help.

I don't understand the need for hostility when a person comes at you in self professed ignorance seeking advice.

It's like having your first week of school and getting crapped on for not knowing the material you're learning about. It makes no sense.

Anyway, the bike I have is a complete trainwreck and I'm sure there are some savvy folks here who can provide some direction I so desperately need.

Again, thank you.

to the forum.

Some of us get ornery with newbies that come in asking questions but profess to know everything already. You'll do fine here though.
