You should just tie a string to the throttle, and place the other end between your teeth.

Brake handle will be easiest out of the three. But throttle hookup is literally one of the last things you need to worry about, it's so easy.

A. The engine wont fit in that frame. It's the wrong style.

B. And most importantly you won't have anywhere for the sprocket to mount.

Ok so, it looks like you guys didnt catch what I was going to build. Maybe this will shed some light.
Btw, I am figuring out what throttle I am using as I have almost everything else to build this already. I cut up an existing kart to do this.
So, again I ask what throttle I should use. I have one so far that said the brake handle style. Anybody else have input? I am more concerned about making sure I had full throttle capabilities more than anything.

I'm my opinion, if I had handle bars I'd want a twist throttle. Thumb levers wear out you hand and a brake lever would feel wrong.

Did a lil mock up to see what needs changing.I now know that I need to change the head tube angle and raise the front frame slightly. Will be getting some new heavier gauge pipe to run from the head tube to the frame.

I use brake levers on my two bikes... I couldn't find any cheap twist throttle locally..
I used what I had...

What concerns me more is that you destroyed a perfectly good bike to make a drift trike..
I've been looking for one of those for a wile... They ain't cheap...

These are not hard to find. It was 180.00 for the bike used. They go for $220.00 new. The parts alone separately would have been far more. It was a economy bike as far as big tire bikes go. So, with the money spent, I get the forks, disc brake, caliper, tire/wheel. Plus I can use the rear tire/wheel, caliper and bracket should I decide to build another.

Looks good so far, drift trikes are the craze now. Is that a riding mower seat? I would need help getting up from that thing. ( I'm an old guy)

Its a padded tractor seat I pickup up from a local fleet supply. And it is hard to get up from. Im an older fella too.
