Fabricobbling a kart

If anyone wants to play along at home I found an air filter adapter that will fit this carb.
Might be an clearance issue with the choke lever , but I have a grinder and I aint scurred.

that carb won't work too well ..
and while it's a 6.5horse chainsaw it's intended for..
it's a two stroke with not even half the combustion volume you're dealing with on your flatty.

IDK.. 16 bucks might be worth a try.. I doubt it though tbh.

And yes, a very similar sized carb sits on many racing engines (all two strokes though for all I know )

I am glad that it works well, Imo mikuni carbs do not belong on a flathead. I ordered a few extras for future garbage.

Sorry to be a judgemental bonehead. I've done some shameful things.

I've also had things stolen. At times it was life altering.

PROTIP .when using a state provided floor pan its best to mount them upside down...

People that think conduit (emt), or water pipe is ok for karts scare me.

This frame has 3 runs of 1in thickwall tubing (not pipe)

In its defense I have rode it very hard and put on a predator with a marine grind cam, thin head gasket, and some other goods. And got airborne a few times.

In the green circle , I will cut out the tubing, insert steel rod and plug weld it, then add a top section to the frame, to make it twin beam. And some other improvements.
