Another Mcguyver roadside fix

Boogin' along, headed up to higher country to visit Dom the preacher man.
I didn't get halfway there when my throttle cable gave it up.
It broke right at the barrel inside the grip.

I had to sit and think about it for awhile.
I came up with a plan, then I found something in the road that changed it, and got me home.

It left me with an idea for the future should I ever need a barrel.

I didn't spend much time editing this, I just slapped it together.

Mcguyver may, or may not be proud.

We stached those 2 piece barrels somewhere just for that reason. Had to use them several times.

lol! thats a slick fix.

I never would have thought of that, instead I'd be using my left hand to hold the handlebar and my right hand on the manual throttle lever. If you are feeling extra adventurous, you could always tighten the friction nut a bit so you dont have to physically hold the throttle lever open and it just stays where you push it.

I find that electrical terminals come in quite handy for a lot of things They are brass... so you can glob solder on them and reshape it with a file.
