Wait, what? Last I heard, California was on major water restrictions yet you have a dam about to burst? How's that work?

Well, those storms that have been rolling through have filled all of our reservoirs...but the idiots in charge wanted to save more water than they could hold ... then another storm rolled in . Which led to a hyperdump (150000 cu.ft /sec.) of water to make room. that blew out the spillway ... BTW the other valves below the dam that haven't been opened in 10+ years got rusted shut... But good news they moved all the baby fish from the hatcheries a day before they told 180,000 residents to evacuate... Man, those roads were a huge parking lot for 16 hrs. Thanks Gov Gerry Brown.... They have to dump the dam 50 ft by wed. 2+ more inches of rain is coming in .. The water shed for that lake is 3600 sq. miles .

You are Correct it makes NO sense! It is Political 100% therefore it is not supposed to make sense. Once you wrap your head around that, it makes perfect sense.
