Hey guys! So I finally wore out the rear tire on my Baja Warrior. (it looks like a racing slick now  )

I want to get a tire that is more on road worthy, as I do most riding on pavement. What would be the best tire for that? I can get the dimensions in a little while so yall know the correct size.

I'm also a little worried about putting a new tire on. How hard is it to do? I feel confident I can get the old one off, but am unsure how simple it will be to get a new one on...

Thanks for the help everyone :)

It's not that hard to do a tire. There's yutoube for that.
I've been looking for better tires for mine too.

The only way I see to go is with a Carlisle

Or Kenda https://www.2wheel.com/kenda-k530-p...kmnyBUmgqYSClnNt_01JjphjaUhgsCItcrhoCZovw_wcB

But these are all still only 2 ply. I found some somewhere that looked really good, and were 4 ply. They were over a hundred each.

So just from experience, I have purchased carlisle, quadboss, and the kenda. Carlisle and kenda are up there in quality and are my pick.

Quad boss seemed like a good idea at the time, but the quality (even though its '4 ply') is poor compared to the kenda and carlisle. Quad boss is thinner rubber, flimsy feeling, and doesnt hold up over time to the kenda/carlisle.

I think 19" tires makes gearing difficult.
Those rims could take 16" tires maybe and give you a torque boost?
Just thinking outloud. I know Joe thinks 16" will looks foolish on these bikes.

Maybe not for the street, but for off road, I want the extra clearance.

Wow thanks for all the suggestions guys!!! I am a little bummed how much the on road tires cost though lol. I've been doing a little looking but haven't seemed to come up with much. Also ground clearance isn't too big of an issue...

The speed racer tires in that photo are for the rear go kart or quad. They are as square as they look in the photo. But they do make a front tire as well that has the bike tire profile
