This morning I was out in my shop. I was on the cold cold floor, once again trying to do the impossible task of looking underneath my bike.
My butt was cold, and tools were everywhere. It looked like the shop had suffered an earthquake.
I was feeling overwhelmed.
So I put on some soothing music, lit some incense in my hurricane vase and parked my butt on the stool to listen and relax.
About ten minutes later, a brain baby* came racing down the hall yelling and screaming.
I looked at my bike and the mess on the floor, and went all Trump on it, and declared, this crap stops here!!!
I went looking for something a friend had given me about 10 years ago when I had no use for it, and quite easily I found it.
All I had to do was rig up a power cable, put some bolts into the main ceiling brace, and wire it up to a battery.
About an hour later, my bike had taken flight. It was hoisted into the air, then partially set down on a swiveling barstool.
Life in the shop instantly became 1000 times easier.
* I want to thank Mindy for "Brain baby" I cracked up when she wrote is elsewhere.
