GC 160 Honda 5 HP off a power washer

I've searched for my answer but haven't see a set up like I have.

I've read they run wide open once they start. I'm wondering what I need to do to make my throttle work. I got everything ready to go except my throttle.

If I remove all that Do I need anything extra to hook up my throttle other than a return spring and throttle cable?

The one off my Cub Cadet rototiller is the same way. What I did was make a lil' bracket (Stole one off a mountain bike) to hold the throttle cable in place with the valve cover bolt. You'll have to get a throttle cable with the S hook on it (Or get a S hook and loop/crimp the wire to it. You'll want to keep the return spring and mount it someplace. And detach the governor rod. You should be set.

Can't remember where, but I know I did see someone a different throttle arm on a GC engine to make it usable.
