LOL lazy Suzanne. You're killing me.

Prediction: Kart will break in half, injuring rider. Rider will either a)stop posting on this forum for good, or b)change his username (again) and this foolishness will continue.

Probably not the greatest idea to put starting fluid or brake cleaner or whatever in a big line and then light it on fire a couple feet away from flammables in your garage. Just a thought. Other than that, your thingamajig certainly looks interesting. Hopefully it works out for you, but I feel bad for that perfectly good lawn tractor that now has tiny rear wheels.

Your old predator was so amazing, what happened??
Also, I see all the safety comments but while this thing does look sketchy atm I think he'll be just fine. As long as you don't weld an extension onto the axle..
Anyways, carry on, and when it does run I want to know the top speed with that gearbox!

Not The Slow Lane.
Transmission Mount:

Near perfect stick welds.
Very high quality metal plates used there. Came off the Deere mowing deck and the decks are not cheap.

The area around your welds looks really oily. I would worry about your penetration.

I tried to hold my tongue.....I'm a professional welder and yeah **** near perfect is what I wouldn't say especially since the Slag isn't even cleaned off yet

:iagree:

The notion that you can "burn out" dirt and grime and slag is a notion that needs to die. All that crud is still there, inside the weld weakening the frame.

:cheers2:

Before I weld anything it's shiny and clean. Epically tig weld and with a near perfect stick weld the Slagle will start peeling back mean clean proper angle heat ect

Woww. Nice innovation. Hopefully it won't turn out to be a buggy. Lengthening will change that.

Can't wait to see the front Trunk extension which will contain the fuel cell. Need bigger front wheels so it doesnt drag.. Or can raise them 2 or three inches.

FiberGlassing is a Must at some point for this project to be complete. If only carbon fiber wasn't so costly, it could be used.

I always burn over my Slag. That way i will have multiple reinforcements. The previous slag would have turned into smoke and vapor during the process.
