But there are superior lubrication products, and superior penetrating oils than WD-40.
Don't get me wrong it is a Great all around product. I have a can in my HVAC work truck and 1 in the garage for all sorts of uses.

They show it, but no price, so not available I think. I'd be all over some I ring chain, it's all I'll run on my bikes outlasts standard chain by an amazing amount, and can not even be compared to agricultural chain.

Ya you might need to call in for price on the o-ring chain... I know they use it industrially for areas needing it sealed from debri and abrasive particulates.

It seals the lube in and the dirt out. It will pay for itself in chain and sprocket savings, at least it does on my bikes. I'll be buying some of that.

I know that you're probably not familiar with it, and being as you're in a country where you can hardly walk down the street with a sharpened pencil in your pocket, this stuff is widely used by people who cast their own bullets.

I think you missed my point. I'm not afraid of anything, especially so when armed to the teeth. Because of the life I've led I've been pretty bad sideways with what we'll refer to as certain brotherhoods. Preparation is no measure of fear. I could kill a man with my fists in a hurry, and so could many others. You're not half as safe as you think you are. I'm sure we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

A bit of both really...
once a month I walk past one of the immigrants camps in my area in the middle of the night
(last friday it was more or less exactly midnight)
And while I'm not a woman, it was exactly that elderly lady walking a few feet in front of me I mentioned earlier.
Calm and quite people, some days you see the kids playing outside, some nights (summer mostly) you see the families sitting outside chatting and laughing..

Truth is though, there are some idiots in every crowd.
the bigger the crowd the more there are.
and unfortunately we have enough idiots in germany with or without immigrants,
but that's something everybody has to deal with, right?
At least our idiots do not carry guns, so they're causing less harm

Some news are vastly exaggerated and some are sadly nothing but the truth.. in either case
for well over a decade my car was unlocked in front of my door (faulty lock too lazy to fix)..
I left my key in the front door over night more than once by accident, and I cannot reach any place within the next hour (by car), that I wouldn't feel safe right now (~2:30 am).

No train station, no unlit park, no pub, bar or club, no dark alley ..
we have all that, but there's nobody there .. mostly nobody at all..
the meanest person more often than not is me already

You think you are safer with guns than without... that's why you arm yourself.
and that is the exact definition of fear;
I'm not saying it's uncalled for.. it may as well be tthe best thing you could do based on your prev. life and your surroundings.
All I'm saying is that it's sad .. sad that you need to (if or without valid reason is not part of my point)
I am exactly as safe as I want to be.
I am perfectly safe without any gun at all times,
even without brass knuckles or knives.. I don't need to kill anyone with my bare hands either
there is absolutely nothing threatening me, so why would I?

That's awesome that you live in a place that provides such a sense of security, although I wonder what trade offs there are regarding personal liberty. I've been in fistfights with a pistol in my pocket, it IS a last resort and if I ever have to pull it then it will be the last thing the person I pull it on ever sees. There will be no brandishing. I'm sure not looking for trouble, but I'm not going to tolerate any either. My motto is don't start none, won't be none.

Don't need to be, usually it's a worn chain that eats your sprockets up.

Much less than what I hear americans usualy have to deal with even to be honest
