post pics

OK I have looked tru this site, used the search function and still have not found the info that I need. I have made a tutorial with alot of pics on changing from a CC and oem jack shaft on a Murry kart to a Comet style torque drive system. I want to post the pics in between the text in a logical order . Every thing that I have found on how to do this does not work..... HELP !!!! some one please point me in the right direction.....

Honestly I'm not sure about this either... I see people do it, but I can only do it where all of the pictures are in one group under the text and not between the text.

To embed them into a post, you need to use BBcode, which is what appears in brackets when you embed something. There is a button to speed up the process, its the yellow picture icon and will insert the and the [\img] tags you need.

To use this, click the [img]http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/images/editor/insertimage.gif button. Then input the images URL and hit enter.

For examples, say I want to embed this: https://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/66/18/00/cb175_11.jpg. I would hit the

button, paste in https://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/66/18/00/cb175_11.jpg and get this:

You can use images from Facebook (if they are publicly hosted, or use services like servimg, Photobucket, Imgur, etc. You just right click the photo, click "Copy Image Address", and use that. Or copy the "Direct Link" URL.

*Note that the URL address needs to end in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif, etc

Thanks Keystone for your reply.I have gotten to the popup for the URL but I don't use Photo Bucket or any hosting site...... I have all of the pics that I need to post on my PC, and so far have not been able to get it to post between the text, I can post them on to my post no problem but not between the text.......

You need to host them 3rd party before you can embed them. Otherwise you attach them and they appear below the text. No other way to do it

Thanks Keystone.....was afraid of that ..... which means that if you go tru a hosting site the pics wont be available for some one to pull up in the future, because pics are dropped out after a specific time if there is no usage ........ sounds counter productive if you are trying to pass info to people that need help working on their karts......

That's why I suggested Facebook too if you have one, since they host them for as long as your account is open. Google+ might too.

You got a smartphone? If so get Tapatalk and it'll make posting pics easy. Here's how easy. The icon above my touch keyboard next to the camera icon, is the one to post pics. You click on it and it'll send you to your gallery, or you can use the camera and use that to post pics that way.

Just put a number on your pic with the CPU photo editing software that every desktop has and then just put a example............ (See pic #1)

All done !
