Hemi 212 skipping

Hey I'm new to the site but looking for help!! Just bought a hemi 212 predator. I removed governor changed main jet to a 36 and put air filer and exhaust pipe on it. It is cutting out really bad at wide open throttle. At first I thought valve flutter but I don't think it's turning enough rpms for valve flutter. Note I have put a ar3910x plug in and still does the same thing. One other thing I didn't change the emulsion tube with the jet could that have anything to do with my problem?

Are you saying you didn't do it right, and are asking us why it's not working?
Is that it?

I'm just looking for help and I'm positive I've did everything right. You have any ideas of what could be happening??

Can you read a plug?

Many guys have a simple issue after removing the Gov.
Has to do with setting the Valve lash.
I would look into that, if I were you.

Thank you I will look into this tomorrow and see if it fixes my problem.

If that's not it the main jet is still too lean. The emulsion tube only effects the idle and 1/4 throttle operation not high rpm

Same thing is going on with mine. Ill probably work more on mine Wednesday night. Will report back with findings.

Cutting out bad at WOT????

Like a bog when you whack the throttle wide open from Idle???
OR it starts to sputter like the float bowl is running out of gas after a few seconds????

I didnt even think about my float bowl running out of fuel. That is a good possibility actually.

Yea mine is after holding it wide open but it never gets to full rpms. What can I do if bowl is running out of fuel put a bigger jet??

Aside from all the prognostications, plug reading and general troubleshooting now would be a good time to recommend the cheap Chinese digital tach/hour meter available from fleabay. Everyone should have one.

Search for one or more threads on the subject.

A bigger jet will only empty the bowl faster; if anything, you need to adjust the float...

You need to read the spark plug before you do anything else...

Thanks I adjusted the valves to .003 the same problem is still occurring I will look into adjusting the floats next from what I can tell the plug looks like good. Thanks for the advice guys

Easiest to try might be to take the gas cap off. Make sure the tank is venting properly.
Not saying your bowl is emptying. I don't know. But is one of many possibilities. Just the first one that came to my mind. It really shouldn't be an issue, but I actually timed how long it took gravity to fill up a 16oz cup. Somebody told me how much fuel/min was needed per HP.

Long story, real short.
Look for intake leaks.
