And started whipping this together out of a old bike i had and a scooter motor.
im just gonna use it for riding to a friends thats too close to bother driving to, and for riding thru a river

Oh, and the aluminum-to-steel bit doesn't work real well ...... just thought I'd let you know.

try drilling the aluminum and bolting on some metal plates that you can weld to. for added strength possibly add some pipe to where the bolt goes through so that there is more area for to ride on and so that you don't crush the aluminum frame.
