I'd like a larger tank for my clone.

.85 gal just isn't that much gas. I've looked around and haven't seen a clone or honda replacement that is larger.

You can mount a racing style tank or pretty much any kind of tank on the frame, just has to be higher than the carb for gravity feed

Can you convert the "dummy tank" to an actual tank?
Then add in a T and a couple shut off switches and have both.

There's no larger Honda GX clone tanks available because there is no OEM need for one. Generators are pretty much the only thing that need extended run time, and those are made by the generator manufacturer. They hold 5 gallons, but are HUGE and don't really lend themselves to a minibike.

You can get small 1.5 to 3 gallon motorcycle tanks, Sportster style or Brit 'peanut' style tanks, they are a couple hundred dollars new but there's usually lots of them at swap meets for around $50.

No use the ammo can for a glove box and the fuel tank for fuel!
Get a shoulder Holster for the ICBM

Well is the 420 tank bigger than .85 gal? It should say in your Owners manual. (as if you kept that) lol

Seriously, what can you do with 2 1/2 liters? Not much. I'd like at least a gallon or a gallon and a half.

That is wise! No offense, I just figured you being a Racer were the type to toss that before getting the engine out of the box.
And that tank would be double his current capacity. Sounds like a good plan.
