I really want front brakes too.

http://www.bmikarts.com/Hydraulic-Brake-Caliper-Master-Cylinder-Kit-Front-Rear_p_2855.html

How do I put brake rotors on my front wheels.
Do I attach the caliper to The Spindle?

The easiest way would be to adapt a spindle that already has disc's, like a Yamaha Blaster or something cheapish, maybe that 100.00 Polaris.

Was just about to put the valve springs in my hemi 212. The hemi looks different than the video i watched, which was obviously non-hemi. Now, when i bought the 18lb springs, they didnt specify if it was for hemi or non hemi. Does it matter? Will any 212 valve springs work? I dont know how you would set the lash on these hemi valves.

I had the same question when I got the 18 lb springs.
On the Hemi....
Remove the outside E-Clip that holds the pin for the rocker arms. Push the pin out towards the center (no room to go the other way).

Now you can just lift the rocker arm off.

If you try to push down on the retainer for the spring, the valve will go down.

People put rope in the spark plug hole to keep the valves in place.
(This was confusing to me at first).

With the rope in place, you can push the retainers with your thumbs, slide it over, and take the spring off.

Install the 18 lb springs same way you took the 10.8 off.

Setting the lash...
Use a feeler gage.

Place the pushrods before putting the rocker pins back in.
Loosen the nut.
Place 0.003" gauge between the lash cap and tip of rocker arm.

Screw the whole stud/bolt until it touches, then tighten the nut while holding the stud/bolt in place with pliers on the square tip.

It takes some back and forth to get it just right.

Thanks for the quick response. So the valve springs on the hemi are the same as non? I noticed the springs on OMB (not where I bought mine) said it was non hemi version only, yet, they dont list 18lb springs that are hemi specific. Here is the link:

I'm not positive about the springs. Sorry.
I never used the 18. I installed the 26.

26 and stock were same height.
18 I got were longer. Not positive I got correct ones.

Here are Hemi 18's.
Not sure if they are different than the non-Hemi.

You could start a new thread and ask, but I would call ARC Racing and ask for Jody.

Hemi's are a little different style, but same concept.

Thanks guys. I imagine the springs are the same for hemi and non hemi. They fit like a glove. In process of setting lash now.

They were longer. But it seems Ive read somewhere that the 18s are a little longer than the stock.

Set lash at top dead center of the compression stroke

And, sorry for the dumb question, but is TDC on these when the piston reaches the top when looking into the spark plug hole?

Honda GX200 18 LB Valve Spring - - Sold Separately, order 2 for a refresh/rebuild.
Although this spring is not legal for the box stock classes, it offers another option for those looking for that "magic" combination. If using a cam with more than stock lift or rocker arms with more than 1:1 ratio coil bind must be checked. This spring will also coil bind in the Harbor Freight Predator Hemi 212.

I'VE GOT NUMBERS!!!! Ok I lied. I have ONE NUMBER!!!

GPS on Phone app says 46.6 MPH!!!:cheers2::auto::wai:

This was about 3/4 mile into a WOT run. I had it up to 42 after about 3/8 Mile, then went up a hill, then back down the hill, after about 3/4 mile, I was at 46.6 MPH and let off, but I don't think it was climbing much anyway at that point.

Working the speed calculator in reverse....

6,606 RPM!!!!!:thumbsup::cheers2::auto::wai:

7.5 Gear Ratio
16" Tires
30 Series TC
212cc Predator "GAB'd to pieces"
350 lb? Buggy

What I noticed. Around 21 mph (3000 RPM) it really started to go.

Is this the TC upshifting? Or my engine making beastly power at 3k RPM? OR BOTH?

Maybe I make the TC engage at 3100 RPM?

AND I killed it at WOT after about 1/2 mile. This was right after 3 x 3/4 Mile WOT runs.

I'll pull the plug in a sec.
