Yeah...I wish Pop's was still around....(never, ever be a burger that good again) ....

Runner up Tommy's .....on the Lake Worth exit....crap...IDK....30 years ???? of whoop it up burgers.

Finally, Benbrook Grill...(Formally Texas Grill)....like a Burger King burger on steroids....and a side of onion rings that's literally a dinner plate 3" high.

I beleive Texas Grill is the place that had the big area at the State Fair? I liked those burgers when I was kid.

This is a hilarious thread!!! Poboy you are quite the comedian lol even though you tried to give me the boot!! Lol but hey idk if this is something that's just old news if so then let me know so I don't go making a fool of myself elsewhere but y'all were talking about a manual clutch a few pages ago and this thing right here looks freaking awesome!!!!! It only comes in 3/4 inch but when I build a mini bike I'm definitely getting this for it. Watch the video on YouTube of a mini bike takeoff with it also pretty sweet. It's a manual clutch from 3D MOTORSPORTS or something like that.image.jpeg

Very old news. The Downs brothers started a company selling the original manual clutch but they went under. This is their latest offering. There is a thread on it somewhere here

Well... first off...being a hoarder sometimes has it's advantages. My small odds and ends collection.

Then...the Plano box of all-thread, washers, and nuts.....a holdover from when I was doing high-end carpentry and it was MY business.

This is just to establish a rough distance to set the sprocket....it'll get a bit more exacting later.

Also, hindsight is 20/20...I'll show HOW I missed the preliminary measurement on drive wheel spacing....no biggie...frame mod should be easy....so.......

I'm going to make a drive wheel out of this wheelbarrow tire....then modify the frame to fit!

Also....your worst nightmares have now been realized! The CC from GoPowersports arrived today....now I have TWO GoPowersports stickers! !!!!

Needs bigger pictures. Also, that's not a wheelbarrow wheel is it?

They're magical pictures, click on them and they get bigger.:cheers2:

It didn't really say what it was for. It seems like a wheelbarrow wheel to me but not a wheelbarrow tire? It's 3/4 bore low speed bearings with a grease zirt in the hub and a bunch of spacers.

EDIT: WAIT! WHAT? I went to drive those bearings out and they were sealed HS bearings? The only thing I can figure is that rim is used with low speed bearings as well...(maybe with wheelbarrow tires? )

Not really happy with the parts I made today.

But...I thought I'd show what will probably be my gas tank...two propane cylinders cut in half and welded back together.

I like that gas tank idea, I toyed with it in my mind once before.
How do you make sure they are 100% empty before cutting?

But,those particular cylinders (Coleman stove propane) are a one way valve... I think.
That is why I asked.

They used to come with a key you could put in to drain them? IDK if they still do, from there I would drill a small hole and fill it with water.
