Re my recent purchase of manco 612

Need help guys just got this manco dingo bad boy learning its quite a following for these things im in canada and need to find info on brake pads where to get and really wanna put reverse on it cause it would suck not to back up , any suppliers u guys can reccomend and info on the predetor eng swap best prices and recommends pls (suppliers etc)

Welcome. Post some pics of your kart. Brake pads are pretty generic, but we need to know what you have. Comet does seem a FNR gearbox, but I think it is about $300 or more. Otherwise you are going to have to get an engine that has reverse

I wish I knew that when I just ordered from there lol.

Most Polaris ATV's have a FNR gearbox that can be adapted fairly easily.

No specific model, all of them from the 80's up through the 90's were torque converters with FNR boxes.

You can turn the shaft down to fit a 40 series clutch, or buy a tapered to straight adapter. Or even monkey with weights and springs to make the Polaris TC work for you.

the 612 should already have a reverse setup on it. The 612 is a small deuce.
