Hi all,
New to the board! Bought a kart to race around the yard but I am having trouble identifying it. It has a serial number stamped in the right spindle bracket. I did a ton of searching and was unable to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. Serial number appears it read 7819

Margay Karts are Known to stamp the serial number in that spot.

I only know that from reading it here on the Forum.
So search "Margay"
https://www.margay.com/what-kart-do-i-have.html

That link you sent is how I knew to look there. However I was not sure if margay was the only manufacturer that put a stamp there. Also, how do I find out what model? Does margay have a serial number list somewhere? I did email them but have not heard back....

I paid 60 bucks cash for the kart and too spare sets of wheels and tires. So I guess it was a good deal.....

Now I need to know your location so I know where to shop for used karts.

I live within 45 minutes of 3 different race tracks. That probably has something to do with it. What do you thing the cart is worth?

I finally spoke to Margay and the verdict is that there is no verdict. They said it's either a Bandito or Expert II. They are leaning more towards the Expert II. What do you think? From 1983-84
