Well, I decided I was sick of looking at the disgraceful mailbox and tore into it. I started late and it got dark on me so i still gotta finish putting the bits and pieces back on and change the post, but I had to stick it back out so theyd deliver the mail tomorrow haha!...... The last pick is the springer I plan on using for the "post"......oh, and I went with the whole fake patina thing.....

I swear...I should have taken a picture of this: heck could still be there...anyway...just about a quartermile away one of those mailboxes....and IF I'M LYING I'M DYING: the name....NO SERIOUSLY...I'M NOT KIDDING: D. B. Cooper!

Oh..well...a thing like that would be easy to fake...so the fact it was real made it cool....not too much farther away....I was telling folks about a guy with a lion in his backyard...well...I don't even know if he still has that lion....but he went absolutely nuts with African antelope and other exotic animals.

I guess I should mention...I don't think this guy with the lion is actually in any city
...so...realize I'm on the edge of cities anyway...and got tons of undeveloped land in walking distance....and some ABSOLUTELY HUGE natural areas...(and this guy's backyard....ummmm...maybe 5acres...(remember this IS Texas!)

So....here's an idea. I'm VERY close to the TEXAS NATIONAL GUARD....or Lockheed. !So....Goggle one up on Google maps....and look around..there's a bunch of undeveloped land in running distance....(something not completely useless to Poboy! )

Yeah, its pretty rural where im at too. There was a guy down the road from me when I was a kid had a bear in a giant cage for years. Some of his family owned the quick stop in town.

That springer! whats your plans for it? Its pointless to have a mail box when our local plow has a Tasmanian devil eating one painted on it! seriously!
