My Maragy Tsunami 100 has just been stolen from my garage. I live in Cleveland Ohio. It's a red frame, has a predator 212, a comet torque convert and I want it back. There are some photos of it on my profile and here's one for the post. I have the serial number for it too. I'm going to watch on CL, BP, and eBay to see if this pops up. Please help me by doing the same by searching those sites as well.

Sorry didn't know where to post and I hope that this community can't help me get it back. Any info please send a pm. Please. That's over $2000 that was just stripped from me.

File a police report if you haven't already... that's the first step to getting it back. who knows they could pull over a van in a few days, and low and behold there's your kart in the back. This kind of thing happens with motorcycles all the time.. so I kinda know the drill. lucky for you, there's not much to "chop" and sell on a gokart, it will most likely be either in 1 piece or two, engine and frame. that gets sold out. hopefully its just one.

but get that report in.. so when you find it you can "meet up" with the person, and have the police meet you there.

Yeah I did file a police report to. Gave them a full description of the kart and the serial number and where it's located. One the the police that showed up at my house to talk to me actually lives at the end of my street. He said he was more pissed that this happened then I was.

Unfortunately....this forum probably isn't going to help you get your kart back...but it never hurts to try....and we're sympathetic...even if unable to assist!!

We cannot assist MUCH ...
what we can do however is keep our eyes open.
maybe throw in a tip or two;

like watching for different color karts as well; or just the engine or something;
and most importantly.. checking pawn shops in the area.

I live about two hours away from you so if I see it pop up in my area I'll let you know.

Update

I have been checking craigslist throughout the day and nothing is coming up. i do plan on calling some local pawn shops and inquiring about any go karts that might have came in lately.

Again, thanks to all who read this and keep their eyes and ears open.

Keep in mind, any made up story must include:
- a crazy broad
- an overconfident drunk with a vivid imagination
- snakes
- the son of a preacher-man
- homemade chicken salad

They broke into my garage by slipping a coat hanger or something rigid with a hook on the end under the door and use that to pull down the cable that's attach to the latch to open it up. They then took it and these highly intelligent turds actually started it up right I front of the house, which is what woke me up. I heard it start, idle for a few seconds and then stall. I got out of bed grab my keys my shoes and my Rottweiler and went right to the garage, unlocked it and looked to see no go kart. They left my power tools, hand tools, mini bike frame and engine, and the other go kart frame. They even left the Yamaha kt100 and vintage brigs flat head. The race kart was singled out.

I then go inside wake my girl and tell her that we have been robbed. I did get into my car and started driving around with my spot light looking and listening for her. Nothing. Went home and called 5o to make a report. That night, Saturday March 12, I posted to FB explaining what happened and asked people to share. And that worked.

Got a message this morning from a guy who said "I know what that kart is right now."
Where was my reply. He responded asking I call him, so I did and he told me a story.

Said that a kid he knew that used to live a few houses down from him called and asked a favor. He asked if he could help him get his "new" kart home do to the rain we had last night. This guy, not knowing the background of the kart, said ok. After he did this favor is when he saw my post on FB. He called the police but they never showed up, that's when he sent me the message.

So this dude and myself drive over to where he said he dropped this kid off and I called the police and explained what was up, gave my report number from the initial report and they had a cruiser there in about an hour and a half. They got some more info from me and this dude and proceeded to knock on the door of the house and entered after a few minutes of talking at the door. They came out about 15 minutes later and started to check out another pace. That's when they found this kid and my kart.
They had me come over and confirm it was my kart and it was. Checked the serial number and the confirmed that from the initial report. They booked this kid, not a kid some 20 year old, for RSP. Not sure if this kid gave up who he got it from or if he was involved. Waiting to hear back from some detectives.

Now she is back home and secure.

He is lucky you called the Cops.
I can think of at least 3 or 4 members that would have... Well
Taken care of it, themselves.

If I didn't make the report it would have been a whole different situation.

I honestly would of found the person who did it, and talked to them first. if they were gonna be a d--k about it then the police would be called, if they were gonna give it up and apologize over and over and beg for me not to call the cops, I would of packed it up, gave him a stern warning and left. call the police and tell them someone returned the kart on your drive way during the night..

I hate getting the po-po involved in anything, just a pointless feat really. and one in a half hours for a cruiser to show? I know there's more important things.. but really one in a half hours?!
