Trying to find something suitable for me. Trailblazer, explorer, blazer, something like that. Was also lookin at a couple of Kia mini vans.

Any opinion on the kia makes.

Ha! Same thing I'm going through right now, pulling my hair out looking for a decent cheap extended cab truck.

Blazers are good, but if it's over 130k on it make sure the lower intake gaskets been replaced before it goes.

Explorers...the only good thing I have to say about them is that they have some of the easiest ball joints to replace lol.

Trailblazers, my boss had one, had it up to almost 400k before she totaled it...and she knew almost nothing about cars besides "gas goes here, oil goes here"

kia...no clue.

I'd stay away from a KIA. Thats my 2 cents. My grandparents had a blazer/jimmy and they loved it.

Found one ! second owner car, first owner was his father in law that bought it new. He had no idea what happened to it just that he hit brake and it made a horrific sound. Turns out that i listened to it when my bro in law moved it and it was the rear brake. Stuck my hand in the rim and grabbed the rotor, it actually flexed with 3 fingers pulling on it.
Somits a 98 with 150,000 miles, v6 4wd and everything works perfectly.
Do a brake job and good to go.
Grabbed it for $500 :wai: wooooo hooooo
