I know you didn't mean anything by it, but Pop's 85, has Alzheimers, and is living with my wife and I.
Hence the hold up on the kart.0

You're right...I was being silly and being Poboy...and didn't mean to undermine or suggest in any way that what you were doing was frivolous or unnecessary...and can relate...my mom's in her 80's with early Alzheimer's...it's no joke...but I couldn't resist the play on words...WAIT! .....or was it I was supposed to take a pop to my dr. "Mr. Pepper MD."....I'm getting "Ol timers" myself ..

I think I have seen that kart in the living room on this forum before. Is the seller a member? Or was that you posting these pics. (or deja vu)
Anyway $600 bucks sounds like a steel! There is a stripped down primered frame only A bone on my local Craigs list for $350 firm.

I did look at it a while back, and took some pics of it but he didn't want to sell then. Hes a buyer trader of a little bit of everything, thats how he makes his living. And yes i thought i posted some on here then but haven't been able to find them.

Only thing I see is not an original steering wheel.
Those are about $100-$125.
Not a deal breaker by any means.

Yeah, but it's the large capacity version and it's beat to ****.
If you're patient, vintage guys will usually sell amongst themselves at a fair price.
$100-$125 is about going price for a good used one. It won't be showroom new but it'll be usable and can be rechromed or powdercoated.

Yeah I've been watching the two tanks on ebay. Ill check some vintage forums and see if i can find something, they make a reproduction tank but its like $329. I ended up getting even a better deal on the kart. Ended up doing some trading , worked out pretty good.
