Before ? Not even close. Last time I shut the engine off it read 9200 tho after the other mods. But it gets a little squirrelly above 6k at speeds so I've never tried it under load.

And that's a lot cheaper than what I have in mine for money wise !

Hey Joe could you post a video of you running your engine at 9k rpm? That would be cool. Thanks mate.

Hey guys, just a few pics from my recent build if anyone is interested. It pulls hard! So much fun.
The clutch is getting quite hot so I think im going to run purple springs in it. Has anyone had any experience with the noram star?

Hi, what mount did you end up using to fit this on the chassis and did you have to shorten the crank? thanks

No i am just running thr standard crank. Didnt shorten it but had to grind the counterweight to clear the conrod. Take as least off as possible.
No balance shaft means less inertia to spin so it gets to higher rpm quicker

Thanks, Ive got mine nearly ready to fit but cant find a mount to suit a 390, what did you use?
