Get a 40 series torque converter for $120 on eBay, or a Noram centrifugal clutch.


You burned up your old clutch because of gearing and/or too much horsepower.

Not to hijack the thread, but where can you get a 40 series torque converter with a backplate? The only one I've found was almost $400.

you basically have two options, bite the bullet and buy it from go power sports because it is their own proprietary part, or build your own jackshaft with pillow block bearings, and 5/8" or 3/4" keyed shaft.
