You need to ditch the electric pump. Get a pulse pump like you had. If you regulate that electric pump down its gonna be overloading it and you will keep having to buy new ones. Been there done it on a 125cc shifter kart.

Your problem now is that it's blowing fuel past the needle and seat which is why its rich. I bet if you turn the pump off it will run normal til it runs out of fuel if you haven't ruined the carburetor yet from too much pressure. You gotta remember those pulse pumps are only 2psi I bet at max pressure.

You might be able to add a return to help save the electric pump if you can figure out where to put it and it work properly. What engine do you have by the way ?

31 hp vanguard v twin Thank you for your help :) .
The only thing i have done to it was change the fuel pump .I bought it from the guy he said it had a bad pulse pump i tried to fix it but could never get the pump to work. So i went out and bought a new pump that would stay on 24 7 intell the motor was off .Here is what i have done to the motor buy a fuel pump and cleaned carb other then that its a stock vanguard motor .I dont know what else to tell you thoughs are the only things ive done the old pulse pump is bad there over 100$ and i cant just take the pump off because it will leave a huge hole in the top of the motor .Where would i draw the suction from to activate the pulse pump .

I'm new at this, but my suggestion would be to put everything back to its original configuration with OEM parts. It had to have run properly at one time, I would try and revert back to what is supposed to be there if the factory pieces are available so you have a good basis to start with. Adding parts won't help diagnose the root cause of the problem.

Hmmm.

Mind if I ask why you can afford a buggy with an engine that cost more than a grand, yet you can't seem to post actual photos so we might be able to help????

My carrier, (Version) doesn't even carry a phone in their local showrooms that doesn't come with a camera; and if an old man like me can figure out how to post photos, it doesn't leave much room for excuses when we ask for photos TO TRY AND HELP YOU.

Ok Cam....hang with me here...and let's look at this logically:

These small carbs don't have accelerator pumps....(at least to my knowledge) ....soooo....you are getting too much air and not enough fuel....period!!!!

So either the carb is still dirty...(passage blocked.....[ some little one you keep overlooking]....)....or....you have a fuel delivery issue....OR.... an air leak...

Now.....my last post here I hinted that I didn't know the solution....but probably the cause....and that's because you cleaned the carb 4 times....(and you didn't say rebuild) ...sometimes you need to get a kit....and do it right.

Have you tried spraying carb cleaner all around the carb and any potential air leak areas? If the engine speeds up....you have a leak....

Hit Briggs & Stratton's website; all you need is the model and serial numbers (off the id tag), and their site says all documents are available there.

Try it; you might like it......

Look for the carburetor number on your carb, then research it. That will help you narrow it down to the manufacturer (Mikuni, Walbro, Zama), exact overhaul kit you'll need and an illustrated/exploded diagram of each piece. Worth a shot.
