Just introducing myself, Brett Smith from Sydney, Australia.

I have a rather strange go kart...it's turbine powered so I hope it fits in with your "DIY" status.

Well, it wasn't built in a factory so, someone made it at home; that's all it needs to qualify as DIY...

OK....I know you guys from "Down Under" can be a bit wacky....so....DIY....means. Do It Yourself! !!!

Anything that you did qualifies.....however....even if you didn't something that cool is welcome here....and so are you.....

Thanks for the kind welcome gents. Well the cart is pretty much "all DIY", heck, even the engine itself is DIY....It's a Garrett 6041 turbocharger which I have converted into an afterburning jet engine....not real efficient though...it has the usual 9 liter tank and at full noise and full afterburn, it lasts about 45 seconds

Yes.....I think I see a bit of a problem with that thing....bring it over here to Texas...so we can do some serious testing....you can hold my beer....JK....

Here's a rather boring video of me testing the newly made A/B pipe just a couple of weeks ago....still needs a bit of work though...but it's getting there.
Yeah it fits an adult in it...I've driven it many times and I'm 6' tall and 200lbs+.
